WELCOME to Journeys With A Camera!  This site is dedicated to sharing my love of travel, the outdoors, and the images captured during those adventures.

I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember.  My introduction to photography came from my father, a professional wedding photographer.  In college my own photo interests turned to journalism and sports.  In the past few years, I rediscovered photography as a creative release from my “real job”.

As I continue to learn from others, I’m hoping to share my artistic successes (and failures) and maybe inspire others.  Along the way, I’ll also share travel stories, tips, and recommendations as I continue to explore the world, the US, and the wonderful places I’m finding in my adopted home state of Florida.
